until you start to question the spiritual meaning of life. Then those lives may catch you unaware.
We are all given freedom of choice. This means we have the freedom to create our own images in the likeness of God. The choices we make here were thought of on the other side. Lessons were created when we were on the death side of life so that we could make choices influenced by environment, other people, and ourselves on the physical side of life.
In other words, we set up situations, with the full approval of those involved, while on death's side. When we come to the physical side, we are able to make conscious choices. No decision is wrong. It only takes us down a different learning path.
For instance, I was born to a family with a father who was thirteen years older than my sixteen-year-old mother. My father, a minister, chose to be father to me, two brothers and my mother. She grew up and divorced him, leaving me to take care of my father and two brothers when I was seven years old.
Now in looking at those choices, my father didn't have to look at a fourteen-year-old girl when he was twenty-seven. She didn't have to return his gaze, but she did.
My father could have looked at my mother as an equal rather than a child, but he didn't. That meant she had to grow up and decide whether she wanted to stay with him and continue the family. She didn't stay.
We three children had a choice as to whom we wanted for a father and a mother before we came to the earthly lives. We chose them. Once we did decide, we knew that as physical children we gave our choice of living situations to the adults until we were old enough to care for ourselves. The choices made by us, the children, in dealing with this environment formed the adult behavior we were to exhibit. It was our choice how we individually handled our own situations.
We put the lessons out there and then made the choices on the physical side as to how to proceed with our lives.
We have the complete freedom of choice. Nothing is predestined.
