Excellent values are found in some religions in that they help those who can't help themselves. Not to mention that attending church is a wonderful way to meet like-minded people. Socializing with compatible people in church lays a foundation of trust among the brethren.
Religions of the world help to keep those people in line who would otherwise wreak havoc on society, especially if they believed in past lives. Those individuals might use lives as their own selfish tools for greed, knowing that they will live again and again. Some people need fear in their lives. Otherwise, we would have more murderers, thieves, and hatred. Hatred and greed are the basis for most crime.
Churches teach people to be afraid: If you are not holy and don't go to church, then you will go to hell. This is like telling children that if they put their hand into the cookie jar, they will get a spanking.
Most churches, as well as psychic ability, are dedicated to teaching people to become more attuned to God while on Earth.
God is the spirit that binds us all. His energy runs through everything and everybody. Knowing this truth, then, you also know that when you hurt any individual or the Earth in general, you hurt God.
Psychic ability is spirituality and is lived every day as a source of information coming from God.
Psychic Awareness in Action
Psychic awareness encourages a person to investigate each portion of his soul's life. As a physical being there are a myriad of ways to explore this task. With psychic consciousness comes the knowledge that even the small things in life can be large in relation to all actions of life.
Becoming more aware means you realize that even words have life and should be used with great responsibility.
