Confidence plays a big part in your life. We are not all good at the same things, but that's what makes this world diverse. Otherwise, it would be a boring place.
Being confident makes us better at whatever we are doing. Feelings of inadequacy make us feel inferior. Like the little engine who could, we can. Acknowledge your confidence in the areas you excel in, and work on the areas in which you are not quite as confident. Pat yourself on the back each time you take a baby step toward your goal. In the psychic realm, we are all babies. Babies jubilantly learn from using all the senses. Enjoy the testing of your psychic ability as if you were a baby again using all senses to reach your goal.
Psychic talent requires confidence. Self-assurance creates progress in the psychic realm. With each new task satisfactorily completed, you can move on with delight to greater exercises.
Another psychic exercise is getting to know your bodies better just as a baby does. When you become aware of all the functions of your body, then you realize when anything out of the ordinary happens.
Start by finding and examining the third eye. Touch yourself between the eyebrows above the bridge of the nose. This is where most of you will get your first sensory manifestations.
After touching the third eye, close your eyes and look towards the third-eye spot between your brows. Notice the slight bit of pressure when doing this. While looking towards the third eye with your eyes closed, visualize a stoplight. Observe the red, yellow and green lights. If you cannot see the stoplight at first, do not become disappointed. It will happen. Give yourself a chance without putting too much pressure on yourself. As you become more secure, you will see the stoplight in your mind's eye.
Another experiment is to gaze toward an object. Stare at it for a moment without blinking your eyes. Now close your eyes. Notice that you can still see the object but now with your eyes closed the object consists of light.
