Having psychic ability is like that baby elephant. As children we are fully aware of the ability God gave us. We use it. As we age and are taught that the psychic is illogical, the logical chain tethers us to the ground as surely as the elephant was. As adults, we abandon our gifts because we know the logical chain is still around our ankle, keeping us prisoner. With meditation, you can remove the chains. Opening vast universes of knowledge, you can access your higher goals.
Meditation as Prayer
Meditation is simply prayer. Prayers can be silent or forceful and do not necessarily mean you need to be on your knees to benefit. A thought to remember is that you need to be careful for what you ask because words spoken from the heart can manifest.
An example is a prayer I spoke many years ago before my first husband and I married which carried severe implications in my life. Before starting this life revelation, know that my ex-husband is not a bad person. We were young, and he was only mimicking what he had seen with his parents. He, as we all are, is living his life to learn to become more spiritual. Any routine experience carries us spiritually closer to God.
While waiting on him to visit one morning after telling me that he wanted to marry me, I said without thinking, "God, I want him at all costs."
After our marriage, the cost was extreme. My ex-husband ran around on me, beat me, and was constantly drinking and doing other recreational things. This was nothing compared to the cost I didn't think I could bear.
My fourteen-year-old daughter went to live with her father and stepmother after continued pressure and promises from them. This child, whom I thought I would be unable to carry to term, was everything I wanted in life. Oh, don't get me wrong - I did not want her to be the reason for my existence,
