In the hope of helping others learn from past lives as I have, included are some readings I have done for others and for myself. Each reading tells a story of how we can help ourselves, if only we try.
A young man in his thirties came to me for assistance. He told me he was unable to sleep at night and didn't understand why. I told him I knew this had just started and he said I was right. I referred to the fact that he had just bought a new bedroom suite. Puzzled that I knew this, he looked at me in wonder. How could I know this?
Then I told him that the furniture was a dark color, was immense and reminded me of the ship I saw him on in a past life.
I then told him that the man I saw in the past life was terrified of life in general. He had worked with numbers for a local import company. Anything that went against his routine created a real problem for him. As long as this shy man could go to work and go home alone at night, he was all right. Any kind of new event, or any relationship with others, evoked tremendous fear in this timid little man.
Being hijacked to a life on the sea was not a fear that his mind could comprehend or overcome. Life at sea was nothing that he would have ever chosen for himself, let alone the men around him. He was very frightened and in constant fear for his life.
Water invaded his every moment. Not only was it all around him leaving no room for escape, but it seeped through the very boards of the ship. Even the boards on which he slept were constantly damp, looking as if they had been rubbed down with walnut oil.
Fear kept him awake at night. The rolling of the ship and fright of the men around him made him feel he had to be vigilant. Finally, he had no choice. His body made him sleep for
