very small intervals. Lack of sleep made him more nervous and fidgety.
With his constant vigilance and lack of sleep, he began to give the other men the creeps. One of the more superstitious of the men decided he had enough and killed the poor, confused, little man. His fears of the men were confirmed when he was stabbed to death on the very boards on which he finally slept.
Upon finishing the pitiful story of the nervous little man, this young man looked at me and all he could say was, "You will not believe this. Not only is my new bedroom suite a dark walnut color and massive as you described but it is a water bed too." He also realized, after hearing the story, that he had become worried about dying only after buying the new bedroom suite. Plus, he was a single man who went home alone every night and didn't trust people.
Only after I told him the story of the poor hijacked man did these little tidbits make any sense to him. Later, he told me he was able to sleep again.
The new bedroom suite, its color and the rocking of the waterbed had subconsciously brought back all the fear and past-life memories from that horrible time. Getting in touch with his fear, exposing it, and dealing with it in this life allowed him to see the fear for what it was in both lives without the same outcome. Learning to trust was an issue that he had brought from that life to this. After learning how he had reacted in that lifetime, he could change his present life.
Fear generated by a past-life event usually surfaces when the person in present life is about two years younger than he was at that time in the previous life. Feelings of remorse and empathy can confuse a present day life in every decision that one makes.
The past life history of my chimney sweep is a good case in point. Being a good Baptist, he has a hard time with my gift, but his past life story, nonetheless, made sense to him.
The first time I saw him, he loved his occupation. Working on chimneys was what he had always wanted to do, he
