If we were only happy, only white or only rich, we would never learn the other conditions of life, which ensure the soul's growth, such as being poor, being another race or being sad. Our soul can best benefit by our visiting every life situation. That is why we come to physical bodies.

Living each day does not always mean that day should be a wonderful day-- quite the contrary. Looking at it from the souls perspective, it will only make the soul grow stronger by experiencing the good and the bad. Past lives reflect present life for the soul just as a photograph of a child reflects upon that child's adulthood.

My only reason for looking to past lives is that you can learn from some to make your present and future lives better. Remembering the past allows one to learn from his choices and decide what best to do in the present. Thus one creates the best possible future in which the soul can continue learning.

Present life gives way to future lives, which can also be viewed in relation to what you are doing in your existing life.

One can review what has happened in the past, in their present physical life, to gain knowledge for their present and future circumstances. That same knowledge from past lives can be utilized to alter this life for the better.

Past lives are not events that stand alone in the soul's evolution. As a part of everyday life, they will affect your life in present-day circumstances. A past life is an event in your present life as part of the soul's growth just as birth, childhood, adolescence, young adult, middle-aged adult, mature adult and death are. Each cycle assists in creating the person you are today when taken in that context.

A past life may appear as something you loved such as food, actions, place of birth, home, likes, dislikes and a myriad of other things.

Certain cultures will be a part of what you love now. Foods from other countries might make you wonder why you crave them when you have never tried them. A certain part of the world might feel like home to you, even though you have never been there. Disliking a person the first time you meet
