that I try to speak with her husband's late uncle, a cancer victim, without her husband's knowledge. Before joining her husband on their patio, I told her that the uncle was a man with his own mind and may be anywhere in the universe but that if he wanted to talk, I would listen. The three of us sat in the moonlight talking for a good while before I noticed a tall man in a white shirt walk up behind her. Saying nothing, I waited and continued talking with the two of them.
The ghostly uncle was not content with waiting. As I watched him standing behind her, he stuck his left hand through her back. The moment he did, she looked at me in horror and screamed, "What was that? Someone stuck his hand through my back? I felt it." While screaming these words, she was leaving her seat. All the while, her husband's uncle remained silently behind her smiling at me. She instantly started to describe the sensation the hand had caused in her body, stating that it felt as if someone had put a hand through her back. Looking at me she asked, "Didn't you see him?"
Obviously, I was unable to keep silent myself any longer. The woman had panicked. Not only did she know that he had put his hand into her back as she said but she also knew it was a man. The lady is very psychic but still doesn't believe it. Trying to allay her fear, I described the tall man to the two of them, and they agreed that it was indeed her husband's favorite uncle.
He returned to reassure both of them that there was life on the Other Side, but he didn't want to have to stand around waiting. Ghostly visitors have their own minds and their own timetable just as we do. They do not have to wait on us to initiate what time they will appear to a loved one. When the lady voiced her desire to see her husband's favorite uncle because her husband had been missing him quite badly, then he appeared and gave her a hands-on performance.
Not all spirits will do this, but he made my job much easier. In touching the person who had requested his visit, he gave proof that there is life after death.
