Chapter Ten
Ghosts and Haunting
Most people have heard of places or houses that are haunted. Some of those people are terrified, others are intrigued, and others hunt ghosts. There are many reasons for a place to be haunted.
Ghosts sometimes show up where they are expected. Those old tales of ghosts who haunt certain places could be fantasy made reality by some well-meaning people who have passed on.
Ghosts also have a sense of humor and therefore haunt for the fun of it. For physical people it can be less than fun, but for some otherworldly entities it can be a knee-slapping good time.
People on this side tend to think that when they go to the other side, life as they know it stops. Having heard so many describe heaven as pearly gates without a care in the world, one could see why it might be alarming to think that a ghost would want to return to visit.
Living without a care in the world would truly be boring. Besides, it's not what the ghostly entities I have spoken with have told me exists on the other side. Heaven for them is a place of learning.
All they have to do on the other side is to think something and it happens.
