Take the case of Michael Servctus, a Calvinist in Geneva, who accurately described blood circulation in 1553. His contribution to science caused him to be burned at the stake along with his book on blood circulation. As is so often the case, if it can't be proven tangibly, people don't believe.
The more you come to believe in your channeling abilities, the more answers you will get. People on the "other side" are more than willing to speak with people on the physical side.
Many people believe that if a person is talking to someone who can't be seen by everyone, that person must be nuts. But the same people who don't believe in channeling will go to church and talk to God with the expectation that He is hearing and answering their prayers. For them, talking with God, whose existence cannot be proven, is all right because everyone knows without a doubt there is a God.
Saying things such as, "I can feel God in my life," or "He has spoken with me," is acceptable when used in religious context. Others will say they have seen God with a little less enthusiasm because that might be broaching insanity if the other church members have not. All of these people have been channeling information under the context of religion.
Religion does not have to be a part of channeling, but spirituality does. People channel through their birthright, which is a gift from God. As with all psychic ability, every entity has this birthright when born. Not all decide to use the gift, but all have it.
Channeling is a skill that can be utilized easily, just by the asking. When we give ourselves permission, we can revive the talent. Then all that remains is the method in which we receive the information.
Sight is another form of channeling. When a person sees a ghostly entity, he has increased his vibratory rate along with the entity having lowered his so that the entity can be seen by physical eyes. The person seeing the ghostly entity has certain physical symptoms that accompany the sight. Although these symptoms occur with sight, they can also occur with other channeling methods. They may include a dry mouth, a tingling
