I prefer to know what is happening at all times. It can be disquieting when you allow someone else to enter your body and give him or her permission to use your voice for a while. These entities do not always have the same likes and dislikes as you. For instance, a person speaking through me in this manner loved talking with Claude but did not care for my dog. She totally ignored my beloved little dog, Muffin. Muffin was uncomfortable and growling at her because she had a definite problem with another person speaking through my lips with a British accent.
Within my body, I was waiting and listening to this other woman speak to my husband without ever acknowledging my dog. The experience wasn't bad but was not my cup of tea. I would rather sit and talk with these people than to allow them to take control of my body in such a way.
When working murders, the channeling can be almost the same, with only minor differences. Generally, I take on the role of the victim, which is not always easy because I feel the effects of whatever death role they played.
This is another sensation that needs to be clarified when channeling. When you decide to start the channeling process for the first time, you need to make the rules.
Because a medium needs to know and be able to describe the manner in which a person died, one of those rules is, "How will I let the manner in which a person died affect me?" For instance, a medium would not want to feel the full force of a strangling if that is how the person being read died. The medium would like to feel only the most minute of details related to that strangling while still being able to describe the death.
In channeling for murder victims, I generally feel the death as a thud wherever the victim was shot or stabbed and as a slight choking if there was strangulation. Water deaths feel different from strangulation deaths. Pneumonia might show up as a water death, as would tuberculosis. Learning to use your own interpretation is part of the channeling experience.
