Empathy
When one aura meets another, they begin examining each other immediately. As they test the waters, they look like two lovers groping until they are satisfied as to the intent of the two physical beings. Once they have inspected each other sufficiently, they can make an intelligent decision as to whether to run from the other entity or make it a friend.
This examination is called “empathy.” A person who knows that the soul is using this ability and utilizes this gift as a psychic tool is called an “empath.”
Empathy is the soul’s ability to feel another soul and understand the implications of that soul or aura. If the soul is sad, happy, dangerous, or even ill, auras will examine and show their physical counterpart what the other soul is feeling. Whether it is used for fight, flight, business, love, or otherwise, it is a healthy sense to have.
An easily recognized instance of aura use or empathy is when a person is walking down a sidewalk in an undesirable part of town. His aura is working overtime. This person has put his physical body at risk— and thus his soul’s evolution while learning on Earth. Now the aura has to really work to protect this person’s physical body.
As he walks, this person sees someone come from around a corner a few feet from him. His aura has already started the body to work before sight of the person is even determined. Adrenaline is beginning to pump because the aura, after feeling the stranger’s aura, is not sure that he should continue on to meet this unfamiliar person.
While feeling the stranger in an empathic frame of mind, the aura surmises that this new arrival is not there for his safety. Physical symptoms start to display such as the hair beginning to stand on the back of his neck. His eyes start to look the stranger over to see where his hands are. The aura is telling the body that
